 Descendants of the Sun is a 2016 South Korean television series starring Song Joong-ki, Song Hye-kyo, Jin Goo, and Kim Ji-won. It aired on KBS2 from February 24 to April 22, 2016, on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 22:05 to 23:00 for 16 episodes. The series was a major hit in South Korea and received immense popularity across Asia, due to its popularity and as a thank you to fans, KBS aired 3 additional special episodes from April 20 to April 22 containing highlights and the best scenes from the series, the dramas production process, behind-the-scenes footage, commentaries from cast members and the final epilogue.

Encantadia is an upcoming Filipino fantasy television series to be broadcast by GMA Network. It is dubbed as the modern requel (retelling-sequel) to the 2005 fantasy series Encantadia.[1] The show is set to air on July 18, 2016 on the networks GMA Telebabad block replacing Poor Señorita, and also to be aired worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV.The new sanggres, keepers of the four gems, were revealed on April 4, 2016. 24 Oras is the flagship national network news broadcast of GMA Network. A nightly national newscast which airs in the Philippines and worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV. It is aired Weeknights at 18:30−19:40, Saturdays and Sundays 17:30−18:00 (PST).
